Eyeshadow For Brown Eyes Tutorials
Calling all the brown-eye babes out there! This is the day that you’ll stop scratching your head for the best eyeshadow combos to put on those lids. Luckily, if you have brown eyes, making those brown eyes sparkle isn’t a daunting task. There are so many eyeshadow colors that will suit you like copper, gold, brown, purple, and teal! Actually, the sky is the limit when it comes to eyeshadow for brown eyes as there’s a myriad of looks to play with! From sultry smokey eyes to a mermaid eyeshadow look, you’ll definitely have a go-to look for each occasion! Check out our list below:
1. Gold Smokey Eye | Eyeshadow for Brown Eyes
If you have hazel brown eyes, one of the best eyeshadows to use is gold. That’s because the gold color helps bring out the yellow tint in your brown eyes. However, going full-on gold isn’t recommended so we suggest something like the photo above–a golden smokey eye. If you don’t fancy a smokey eye, just mix your gold with something bronze or copper to complement your brown eyes.
2. Electric Blue | Eyeshadow for Brown Eyes
Why do we love electric blue eyeshadow for brown eyes? It’s because the coolness of the blue color contrasts the warmness of the brown eyes. However, take note that not all blue colors will work great on you. Pick something bright like electric blue or royal blue. An additional tip is to wear royal blue eyeliner along the lash line to accentuate the contrast and brighten the whites in your eyes too!
3. Silver Eyes | Eyeshadow for Brown Eyes
Whether you go silver smokey eye or just a simple silver eyeshadow, it’s going to look great on you girl! Just the same with the bright blue eyeshadow, the cool-toned silver sparks a beautiful contrast with the warm-toned brown of your eyes. You can’t go wrong with this color! Go gunmental, metallic or platinum silver–take your pick! Just a quick note, don’t put too much silver eyeshadow on the lower lash line as this can enhance the appearance of dark undereye circles.
4. Purple and Gold | Eyeshadow for Brown Eyes
Purple & Gold 💜⭐️ Happy Friday everyone! Here are the steps for yesterday’s look, using the @rimmellondonus Magnif’eyes Shadow Eyeshadow Contouring Palette in 003 Grunge Glamour! 1. Using a dense brush (this is the @sigmabeauty E32 Exact Blend), apply the chocolate brown to the crease and outer corner. Then blend out the edge with a fluffy brush toward the brow. 2. To further blend out that color, apply the medium beige shadow over the edge of that with the E38 Diffused Crease brush. For a clean edge and a light base for the shimmers on the lid, I then applied the @lorealmakeup Magic De-Crease Eyelid Primer to the lid, smoothing the edge with a synthetic brush. 3. With the E57 Firm Shader, pack the gold shimmer on to the inner half of the lid and inner corner. 4. Apply the medium taupe shimmer onto the outer half of the lid with the same brush. 5. Line the water line, upper lid and outer crease with the purple side of the Rimmel Magnif’eyes Double Ended Shadow + Liner in Pink and Purple Rain. Also line the tear duct with pink side and smudge out. 6. Finally, blend that liner out further with the purple shimmer, using the E20 Short Shader. Blend that color onto the outer third of the lid. I completed the look with @ardell_lashes Individual lashes! Have a great weekend! ❤️❤️❤️
Do you know that purple eyeshadow is the best eyeshadow color to wear for anyone? Yes ladies! If you’ve been avoiding this shade, it’s time to create purple eye looks right now! Purple is a very flattering eyeshadow color because it easily goes will with any hair color, skin tone, and eye color. And guess what? Purple eyeshadow for brown eyes works perfectly because brown and purple are contrasting colors on the color wheel! We suggest going for a purple shade with a bluish tint or mixing purple with gold!
5. Bridal Eye Makeup | Eyeshadow for Brown Eyes
Is your big day coming soon? Or maybe, a friend or relative is getting married soon? We highly suggest this bridal eye makeup for brown-eyed ladies. Just like any bridal makeup, we want to keep it soft and simple. But of course, we don’t want something too simple that it will pass for an everyday makeup look. A deep crease, a perfectly shaped winged eyeliner, and a neutral eyeshadow will make you look gorgeous!
6. Teal and Coral Eyes | Eyeshadow for Brown Eyes
Green is one of the best eyeshadow for brown eyes that you can ever wear! The more it will look amazing on you if you have hazel eyes. But if you have purely brown eyes, teal green is absolutely perfect! It makes your eyes stand out and make it look more vibrant. Add a bit of peach eyeshadow in the middle to soften the look.
7. Holiday Shimmer Eyes
I know the holidays are over, but this holiday shimmer makeup is one of the book y’all! If you’re going on out on a date night or perhaps, just attending a formal party, this champagne gold eyeshadow will look great on your brown eyes.
If you have brown eyes and dark hair, I suggest you try this look out!
8. Blue and Silver Eyes | Eyeshadow for Brown Eyes
We saw how great blue and silver eyeshadows are for your brown eyes. Well, what if we put them together? Mixing blue and silver eyeshadow is a deadly combo for brown eyes and when I say deadly, I mean it’s going to leave everyone frozen at the sight of you! Use silver on the inner corner and work your way to the other part of the eye with the blue eyeshadow getting darker. Don’t forget to line the lash line with royal blue eyeliner now!
9. Coral and Olive Eyes | Eyeshadow for Brown Eyes
Green makes hazel brown eyes pop, while coral brightens up the eyes. This eyeshadow for brown eyes combo is a great eye makeup to try this spring and summer season. It’s bubbly, colorful, and very refreshing! It may not be your usual eye makeup combo, but hey, change is good girl!
10. Rosy Smokey Eyes | Eyeshadow for Brown Eyes
…And we have arrived at my favorite look yet! This rosy smokey eyeshadow for brown eyes is to die for! This look is a mix of pink and purple, which perfectly complements the brownness of the eyes. I’ve done this a couple of times and let me tell you, I always get compliments whenever I do this look!
11. Everyday Eyes | Eyeshadow for Brown Eyes
We’ve gone through the smokey eyes, bridal eye makeup, and some bold colors. But if you want a solid everyday eye makeup for brown eyes, then we’re going to stick with the neutrals, with a tinge of color. The fact is, sticking to a neutral brown eyeshadow will blend in with your brown eyes and that’s not a great thing. So what we suggest is that you wear brown shadow on the lids but add a bit of teal, green or purple on the lower lash line or waterline.
12. Mermaid Eyes | Eyeshadow for Brown Eyes
And last but certainly not the list is my next favorite eyeshadow for brown eyes. It’s a combination of yellow, orange, and green–three great colors for brown eyes. I think this is a fabulous spring and summer look! The colors are fun and adventurous, which I think should also inspire you to be more creative in the sunny seasons.
