Hello, beauties! Welcome to Makeup Tutorials.com, the best and most fun blog on makeup, beauty and fashion! My name is Karen Lang and I’m the Editor-In-Chief of this fun little blog.
I’m so excited to have you here and love the opportunity to share my passion and love for all things beautiful with wonderful people like you!
Who am I? I’m a certified freelance makeup artist who spends the bulk of her time running around from shoot to shoot, meeting great people, taking care of my two little girls, and running this awesome site! Makeup Tutorials is my passion project, but because I can be a busy lady (who isn’t when you have kids and a job? Am I right, ladies?), I have lovely makeup artist friends helping me out and, most importantly, making sure you’re getting the latest and greatest in makeup tutorials and beauty news.

We’re all about posting the best makeup tutorials on the web, tips and tricks to help you perfect the latest trends in makeup and beauty, skincare tips to help you get the skin you want (after all, perfect skin is the perfect canvas for great makeup), ideas and inspiration for new looks, and the latest in news from the makeup, beauty and fashion front.
Basically, we want to make sure our readers are the first to learn about everything pertaining to makeup, beauty, skincare, and fashion.
3. Why Do We Do It?
Put simply, because we love it. Being a makeup artist has allowed me to pursue a dream career and express my creativity on a daily basis. That’s what makeup is all about – expressing yourself and sharing that with others. I only ever want to share my passion and love for makeup with others and hope they feel the same way! So, if you’re new to makeup and looking to learn a few new tips, or a seasoned veteran who just wants to stay updated, we hope that you enjoy everything we do as much as we enjoy doing it for you!
