Drugstore beauty products are budget-friendly for makeup enthusiasts. Pricier makeup doesn’t always mean better. Here are 11 products we can’t live without.
11 Drugstore Beauty Products I Can’t Live Without
It’s no secret that I’m a total makeup lover. I love trying out new products and searching for the best pieces of each makeup line, from the most expensive to the cheapest brands. Through my lifetime of sampling, one thing I’ve discovered is that a higher price doesn’t mean higher quality or better results. Many of my favorite drugstore products give me the same result as some of my higher-end cosmetics do.
While I have no problem splurging on pricier products, there’s something deeply satisfying about saving a few bucks while still getting new products! It feels amazing to score a foundation or mascara without spending a fortune. And yes, it’s possible to look your best while trimming the budget at the same time. It’s all about balance!
I’m excited to share my favorite drugstore products with you! These are the ultimate drugstore gems that I’ve been impressed (and obsessed) with.
1. Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser
This has been my go-to primer (and yes, I always use a primer) every time I do my makeup to leave the house. It’s a silicone-based primer, but unlike other silicone primers doesn’t dry up my skin or make it flaky. Now, I’m hooked on this product. I can’t leave the house without it.

2. Nivea Post-Shave Balm
I know you’re familiar with this. The minute Nikkie from NikkieTutorials raved about this product, I just knew I had to try it for myself. Post-shave balm as primer really does work for me! My makeup lasted longer than usual, but the only downside to using this product as primer was that it enlarged my pores, making them even more visible. Overall, this product is worth a try.

3. Maybelline Dream Satin Skin Liquid Foundation
This has been my go-to foundation for a while now since it’s easy to apply and blend, even without a Beauty Blender or buffing brush. This foundation provides light to natural coverage and doesn’t look heavy on the skin.

4. Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder
I use Transparent to set my cream-based foundation. This powder makes my T-Zone matte, but not cakey.

5. NYX Brow Gel
I can’t leave the house without my eyebrows (lol)! Because I have thin eyebrows, I need to fill them in and this product has been more than reliable.

6. NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder
I use this to set eyebrow gel and add dimension to my eyebrows. Thanks, NYX, for keeping my eyebrows on fleek!

7. E.L.F. Shadow Lock Eyelid Primer
8. Wet N Wild Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner
Since I have big eyes, I love drawing a dramatic cat eye. This liquid liner has been my go-to and its fine-tipped brush make it one of the easiest liquid eyeliners to use.

9. Maybelline Volum’ Express The Falsies Mascara
This is my go-to, long-wearing mascara. The formula adds thickness and volume to my lashes without smudging.

10. Milani Baked Blush
Luminoso and Corallina are my faves! Milani’s Baked Blush is like a blush, bronzer, and highlighter all in one. It’s super pigmented and leaves my skin with a natural glow.
