Tokyo-based producer Nobumichi Asai used projection mapping to add CGI patterns to a woman’s face. According to Slash Gear, there’s an initial scanning stage in which a model’s face gets mapped, and then a computer program projects graphics onto her mug. The result looks like a full face of makeup, and then transforms into an abstract artist’s dream
