Step 1: Apply eyeshadow.
First, apply the eyeshadow base all over the eyelids. Next, apply gold eyeshadow all over the lid and then layer it with a light pink shimmer eyeshadow. This step will help achieve the rose gold eyes. After the lids, work on the crease with a brown eyeshadow, this will serve as a transition color. Apply the first layer right on your crease. When it’s completely blended out, add another layer to deepen the crease.
Step 2: Apply eyeliner and pack on the color.
Apply white eyeshadow just under your eyebrows to give the eyes a lift. And then make sure to blend the brown (on the crease) and white eyeshadow seamlessly.
With eyeliner, there’s no one right way to do it. Feel free to do the eyeliner you want to enhance your eye’s shape. Add drama to your eye makeup by wearing false eyelashes. However, do apply mascara on your upper lashes first before attaching the falsies.
To make the eyeshadow more vibrant, you can add a layer of champagne gold pigment/eyeshadow.
Step 3: Apply face makeup.
Now, we’re moving on to the face. Start by applying primer all over the face. Follow it up with foundation. Apply it over the face and make sure to blend smoothly.
In this tutorial, concealer was used for highlighting. So first, apply the concealer under the eyes (forming a triangle shape) and in between the brows, the bridge of the nose, cupid’s bow, and chin. While you’re at it, do your contouring as well so you can blend them all together smoothly. Apply your contour cream around the forehead, nose, cheekbones, and jawline.
Blend everything properly. Please don’t rush this process as you’d really want everything to be blended out smoothly.
Step 4: Set with powder and contour again.
Set your face makeup with a setting powder using a powder brush. And then move on to contouring again. Give the face a well-defined shape by applying contour powder on the areas you applied contour cream before, this creates more depth to your face.
Step 5: Add pigments and glitters.
Brighten up the eyes by adding pigments on your lower lashline. You can add pretty glitters on your lower lashline too. If you want to make this rose gold makeup more glamorous, add glitter eyeshadow all over the lids with your fingertip. Just gently dab the glitter on the lids.
Next, make the eyes look brighter by applying mascara on your lower lashes. And then finish up your eye makeup lining the lower lash line with a nude eyeliner.
Step 6: Work on the cheeks.
We’re almost done ladies. We just have to add more color here and there. So, now, apply your blush of choice all over the cheeks and then highlight the cheekbones for a subtle glow.
Step 7: Apply lip color.
Outline the lips with a lip liner in a rose pink shade then apply a nude lipstick shade all over the lips. It’s best to go matte on the lips since the eyes are shimmery and sparkly.
And you’re done ladies!
