Blue eyes are as mesmerizing as the sea and since it’s almost summer in some parts of the world, I wanted to show you makeup tutorials for blue eyes that really make them stand out.
Strikingly Beautiful Makeup Tutorials For Blue Eyes
I would say that makeup for blue eyes isn’t as tricky because honestly, blue eyes already speak volumes on its own so putting colors on your lids is really not necessary to accentuate your eyes. But if you like to, of course, there is no problem with that, in fact, I support it! So here are some of Youtube’s most loved blue-eyed beauties showing you how it’s done. I’m featuring Zoella and Lauren Curtis on this mission.
1. Natural Looking Spring Pinks
I love how natural and completely dainty this warm, shimmery pink eye color looks on Zoella. Her blue eyes just stand out all the more against the colors of her pink-themed makeup tutorials for blue eyes. I notice that Zoella likes using shimmer a lot of times and I support that because it helps for a more wide-eyed look. Plus, I think this look is perfect for office wear.
Watch how she created this look on the video below:
2. Warm and Golden
A warm, golden-toned eye color creates such a warm frame for blue eyes and creates a contrast that highlights the icy coolness of blue eyes. This is why I think a very natural and easy look such as this by Zoella is one the makeup tutorials for blue eyes I should feature here.
Create this simple look by following the instructions on the video:
3. Slight Smokey Bronze
Earlier I mentioned that blue eyes don’t really need a lot of introduction, so I love how a slightly smokey bronze makeup look accentuates blue eyes really well. The halo makes it an easy yet statement-ish look for everyday wear.
Here’s the tutorial on this look:
4. Smokey Matte Brown
To keep it a bit more low key, you can choose to create a smokey look using all matte colors, it still creates a mesmerizing look for blue eyes but it’s less out there, considering shimmers are not part of the picture. Just like what Lauren Curtis did in one of her makeup tutorials for blue eyes.

5. Glittery Pink
Even though I say blue eyes don’t need a lot of introduction, it doesn’t mean you can’t go all out, all glam. One of the prettiest makeup tutorials for blue eyes curated by Lauren is this glittery pink color that creates such a feminine touch in contrast to her eyes. I am really loving this glammed up look.
Here’s the video to show you how it’s done:
Don’t be afraid to stand out using colors around your eyes, it’s really all about how you carry the look. Blue eyes are so fun to play with, and that means you can create looks with bright colors and it wouldn’t go wrong. Like this beautiful bright eyeshadow look using yellows, orange, and pink.

7. Green Eye Color Look
I love how this poison ivy look really suits blue eyes, so I’m including it in this list of makeup tutorials for blue eyes. Personally, I find that a warm, green color tones down the blue eyes a bit but it also makes it look almost a bit grayish which isn’t bad at all.
Here’s how to recreate this look:
8. Navy Blue
Who said blue can’t go with blue? Using a different hue of blue, a complementary color, always creates such a beautiful look. I love that Lauren decided to use a warm golden color on the lower lash to create a beautiful balance on the look.

9. Bold Wing Liner
A bold wing liner is always an edgy look to wear, very feminine but also very edgy especially on blue eyes and on glam nights, so don’t ever think twice of creating a bold wing because not only does it frame your eye in such a sexy way it also brings forward the cool contrast of blue eyes.
Create this winged liner look by following this tutorial:
10. Metallic Eye Look
Metallic Eye looks particularly look good on blue eyes and it wears really well on night outs with friends because of it’s reflective sheen, maybe it’s because of the metallic cool nature of blue eyes or maybe it’s the way the metal pigments allow the speckles on blue eyes to come through. Either way, a metallic eye look is one of my personal favorites among makeup tutorials for blue eyes.

Blue eyed beauties don’t need to shy away from glam and gold looks because it creates such a beautiful look set against your jewel of an eye. If you prefer more natural looks then that is not a problem either because your eyes will do the talking for you. Either way, make sure whatever color you wear in your lids, it makes you feel beautiful and confident.
