Make Your Blue Eyes Pop with Makeup Tutorials for Blue Eyes

Makeup tutorials for blue eyes are not as tricky as you may think it is because, honestly, blue eyes already speak volumes on their own. So, putting colors on your lids is not always necessary to accentuate your eyes.

Still, we’re always game for more ways to look beautiful! Here are some of YouTube’s most loved blue-eyed beauties showing you how it’s done.

I’m featuring Zoella and Lauren Curtis on this mission!

1. Natural Looking Spring Pinks

I love how natural and completely dainty this warm, shimmery, pink eye color looks on Zoella. Her blue eyes just stand out more against the colors of her pink-themed makeup.

I notice how Zoella likes using shimmer a lot of times and I agree because it helps for a more wide-eyed look. Plus, this look is perfect for office wear.

2. Warm and Golden Eye Makeup Tutorial

A warm, golden-toned eye color creates such a warm frame for blue eyes and creates a contrast highlighting the icy coolness of blue eyes. It also gives you a sun-kissed skin tone without exposing too much under the sun.

This is why I think a very natural and easy look such as this by Zoella is one of the makeup tutorials for blue eyes which should be on this list.

3. Slight Smokey Bronze Eye Makeup Tutorial

Blue eyes don’t really need a lot of introduction, just a smokey eye makeup look is enough to accentuate blue eyes really well. The halo and slightly defined outer corner make this look a just right for everyday wear.

4. Smokey Matte Brown

To keep it a bit more low key, you can choose to create a smokey eye makeup look using all matte colors, it still creates a mesmerizing look for blue eyes but it’s less out there, considering shimmers are not part of the picture. Just like what Lauren Curtis did in one of her makeup tutorials for blue eyes.

5. Glittery Pink Eye Makeup Tutorial

One of the prettiest makeup tutorials for blue eyes curated by Lauren is this glittery pink color which creates such a feminine touch in contrast to her eyes.

Even though I say blue eyes don’t need a lot of accents, it doesn’t mean you can’t go all out, all glam. The key is fading out the eyeshadow up to the brow bone.

6. Colorful Eyeshadow Combinations

Don’t be afraid to stand out using colors around your eyes, it’s really all about how you carry the look. Blue eyes are so fun to play with which means you can create looks with bright colors and it wouldn’t go wrong.

Add lashes too while you’re at it. Like this beautiful bright eyeshadow look using yellows, orange, and pink.

7. Green Eye Color Look

This poison ivy look really suits blue eyes, so I’m including it in this list of makeup ideas for blue eyes. Warm, green color tones may overpower the blue eyes a bit sometimes but it also makes it look almost a bit grayish which isn’t bad at all.

8. Navy Blue Eye Makeup Tutorial

Who said blue can’t go with blue? Using a different hue of blue, a complementary color always creates such beautiful eye makeup. Lauren decided to use a warm golden color on the lower lash to create a beautiful balance on the look and we love it!

9. Bold Wing Liner

A bold wing liner is always an edgy look to wear, very feminine but also very edgy especially on blue eyes and on glam nights.

So, don’t ever think twice about creating a bold wing which makes your eyes pop. Not only does it frame your eye in such a sexy way it also brings forward the cool contrast of blue eyes.

10. Metallic Eye Look

The metallic eye looks good with blue eyes and it wears really well on night outs with friends because of it’s reflective sheen. It’s one of my personal faves among makeup tutorials for blue eyes.

Check out this video by Lauren Curtis who will show you how to make blue eyes pop!

Blue-eyed beauties don’t need to shy away from glam and gold looks because it creates such a beautiful look set against your jewel of an eye.

If you prefer more natural looks then it’s not a problem either because your eyes will do the talking for you. Either way, make sure whatever color you wear on your lids, it will make you feel beautiful and confident.
