It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of fall and winter makeup looks. But after the harsh winter season, I must say, I’m really excited to change things up now. It’s time to welcome the vibrant spring season and that means, it’s also time to do more natural and glowing makeup looks! But wait, there’s actually one more reason to welcome spring with enthusiasm… new spring makeup!!! Yes, this is the time where drugstore and high-end brands release their new line of spring makeup and skincare products that even if we try to resist, we’re going to buy them anyway. So sit tight ladies, this list can make your heart beat faster!
1. Chanel Code Coco Collection Spring 2017
The Chanel Code Coco Spring 2017 Collection is all about the five shades: beige, black, white, red, and gold. The makeup collection is a bit bolder, but there’s still that Chanel classic touch in all of the products. If I were to describe this spring makeup collection, I’d say it’s a courageous one–perfect for the modern woman!
The Code Coco collection features Blush Harmony, a blush quad that multi-tasks as a blush, bronzer, and highlighter, the lovely Joues Contraste Blush with a warm rose beige hue, the Les 4 Ombres Eyeshadow Quad, the Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner (deep grey and brown), La Vernis Nail Polish, Rogue Allure Velvet Lipsticks (Libre, La Secrete), and Rogue Coco Shine (Beige Dore and Noir Moderne).

One of the Asian makeup brands that I really like is Shu Uemura and their Play Date Spring 2017 is something I’d want to get my hands on! Just like Guerlain and Lancome, this collection is as pretty as can be. We love the pastels, the pops of color here and there, and more importantly, how everything comes together as a quaint and dainty spring makeup collection.
In this collection, there’s the Play Date Eye & Cheek Palette, which I think is the highlight of the collection. There’s also the Drawing Pencils and the Rouge Unlimited Sheer Shine lipsticks.
11. Laura Mercier Joie De Vivre Collection Spring 2017
While other brands focus on the light hues for spring, Laura Mercier goes natural with the Joie de Vivre Spring 2017 collection. The collection aims to boost that natural color of the skin promoting a natural and healthy glow. It’s all about being fresh and beautifully natural.

In this collection, there’s the Face Contouring Palette, the 4-Colour All-in-One Pen Eyes & Lips, 4 Colour Eyeshadow Palette, Ombre Iridescente, and the Joli Rouge Brilliant lipsticks. I really like the all-in-one pen for the eyes and lips. I think bringing back this concept is brilliant!
13. Benefit Spring 2017
If you’re a fan of Benefit, you’ll be looking forward to this spring 2017 collection. While the collection is not as huge compared to other brands, the products are still something to watch out for.
The new spring launches include the Galifornia Blush, a coral-pink blush that’s embossed with a metallic gold star. The packaging is trippy too!
