If you want to get the most out of Spring Break, then you must have these beauty products in tow wherever you go! We’ve created a list of everything you need to own this Spring Break so you can enjoy the heck out of it while looking gorgeous!
Spring Break Beauty Products You Can’t Live Without
You know what March means, right? Spring Break, baby! While the days of girls going wild are behind us (or, at least, the commercials are), for many, Spring Break still means a week of letting loose, getting wild, and looking good while doing it. Truth is, we’ve done Spring Break (numerous times) and have lived to tell the tale! We’ve done it more than we’d ever care to admit to our parents or colleagues, so it’s safe to say that we know a thing or two about packing the perfect travel bag. So what’s a girl to pack on this vacation? Check out our list below:
1. Dry Shampoo or Baby Powder
Dry shampoo can be tricky territory so unless you already have your holy grail product, we recommend using straight up baby powder to get rid of oil and dirt. If you have dark hair, the trick is to continue brushing the powder into your roots to get rid of the white shadow the powder creates.
2. Bold Red Lipstick
You’re going to be partying, that’s a fact. What better shade to party in than classic, vivacious red? Red lipstick is a travel must as it very versatile. It can be used during the day and easily transitioned into a nighttime look. So if you want to have that luscious pout in every single photo, bring your favorite red lippie! We recommend these red lipsticks!
3. Deodorant
The only thing worse than bad makeup is great makeup BUT awful BO. Actually, BO is the worst thing ever. I’d rather look simple but smell awesome any day. Thus, it is a no-brainer to bring deodorant in your travels especially during Spring Break when the sun can be unforgiving.
4. Micellar Water
Micellar water is all the rage and it’s easy to see why. This innovative technology has made it possible for makeup lovers to remove our makeup and cleanse our skin in one swoop. The best part about using micellar water to remove your makeup is that it is formulated without oil or alcohol, making it suitable and gentle for all skin types. While you can technically bring makeup remover wipes, you could also live in the year 2017 and use micellar water instead.
5. Black Kohl Pencil
In the same way that red lipstick is versatile, a black kohl pencil is too! A black kohl pencil can be used to create various day to nighttime looks, but my favorite use of the kohl pencil is for creating that sultry, effortless smokey eye that’s perfect for a night on the town. And since you’ve brought your red lipstick with you, you have the tools needed to create a variety of fun Spring Break looks.
6. Petroleum Jelly
I’ve just rediscovered the magic and power that is Vaseline, so of course, I had to include it in this list. After weeks of battling dry, chapped lips (that no amount of healthy fats and water could get rid of), I went back to using straight up Vaseline and experienced a complete 180 in the state of my lips within a matter of days. By day 2, my lips were back to their smooth and soft condition. With that said, Vaseline is great for everything! It’s great as a highlighter (during NYFW, makeup artists applied Vaseline instead of highlighter to give off a subtle, healthy glow), lip balm, primer, every beauty concern or look you want to create can almost always be done with Vaseline. Take it with you; you won’t regret it.
7. BB Cream or Tinted Moisturizer
Girl, you are not going to have time to apply a full face of foundation especially when you want to make the most out of your hours. Do yourself a favor and bring bb cream or tinted moisturizer instead… Bonus points if your moisturizer has a radiant or dewy finish so you look like you have stunning spring skin!
8. Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray
I love this product. We all want those natural, effortless beach waves. And when we don’t have time to sit down and curl our hair, we turn to this life-saving product that does the work for us. After I shower, I apply the Surf Spray to my wet locks, but only after combing argan oil through my hair, and let my hair naturally dry. The result is soft, tousled waves.
9. Bumble & Bumble Defrizz
Maybe your hair type isn’t as easily manageable, especially when you’re traveling, so if you can’t get beachy waves, be sure to at least bring anti-frizz serum that will keep your hair tamed and docile. We all want to look our best on Spring Break, right?
10. Sunscreen
Uh, c’mon, you can’t forget sunscreen. This should already be in your bag! We know how important sunscreen is. Actually, if there’s only one beauty product I’ll bring on my vacation, it’s going to be sunscreen! It might not do wonders for your makeup but it will do wonders for your skin for the long haul too. What’s beautiful makeup if you have ugly skin right?
11. Primer
Primer is a must-have beauty product this Spring if you want to make your flawless makeup last longer on your face. And with all activities (a.k.a. partying) Spring break has to offer, you need a primer that also nourishes your skin. We highly recommend Too Faced’s Hangover RX primer, it’s a cult classic!
12. Setting Spray
Sometimes, primer isn’t enough, you need a setting makeup spray to lock everything in. Plus, setting sprays also make layers of face makeup seep into the skin better–giving you a more flawless look. This is definite must-have!
13. Colorful Eyeshadow

Spring season is the perfect time to show off your pro-esque makeup skills by using colorful eyeshadow. Yes, put the brown smokey eye to rest, it’s the season of color! We recommend pastels and peachy tones.
14. Highlighter

Do I really need to remind you that you need to bring highlighter? This Spring, why not holographic highlighters. They look super cool and appropriate for the season. Trust me on this!
15. Peach Lip Color

Peach hues are definitely having its moment and we’re loving it! Go for a liquid lipstick if you want something that lasts all day long or a gloss for a pouty look.
BONUS: Sunglasses
How else are you going to look fly, girl? A pair of sunnies is definitely a must-have on any vacation you have whether it’s spring, summer, or winter. It’s fashionable, stylish, and surely boosts your fashion game. Sunglasses need not be expensive, you just have to find the right one for your face type.
Now that you have every Spring Break beauty product you need, it’s time to create that spring makeup look that won’t take hours to do. Check out this tutorial from YouTuber Joanna Marie:
Spring Break is about having fun and being safe, so take it easy, take lots of pictures and do at least one you’ll regret and laugh at. It wouldn’t be Spring Break if you didn’t regret anything or come home with embarrassing pictures you hope never find their way to the internet. But kidding aside, you can party like there’s no tomorrow as long as you make sure that you protect your skin and look FABULOUS!
