Eyebrow care is so in right now. As it should be of course. Your eyebrows should define the shape of your face and make it stand out. Shaving and re-drawing your eyebrows is the ultimate no no. Wearing your natural brow shape is the best way to go.
It’s ok if your arches aren’t super high naturally. Never create an unnatural arch in your eyebrows. Trying to achieve this may result in thinning out your eyebrows which will make your face stand out for all the wrong reasons. Play off of other fabulous things about your eyebrows like length or thickness. Get back to your natural brow shape and be proud to show them off!
Things You Will Need:
-
Balm/or balm pencil
-
Eyebrow brush
-
Eyebrow pencil
-
Tweezers
1. Tame your brows a little before you get started.
I’ve been using my new lip balm to lay my eyebrows down a little. They get a little unruly especially when they need to be cleaned up. If you don’t want to use your lip balm there are other alternatives. You could use a balm pencil that’s made to smooth down your eyebrows. Those could be found at target, drug stores and beauty stores.
2. Brushing your eyebrows lays them down even more.
This makes them easier to work with. Brushing also gives you a chance to shape your eyebrows to their natural form. Making it a whole lot easier to tweeze them.
3. I like to shade in my eyebrows for two reasons.
My hair type is fine/thin and that includes my brows. Shading them in makes them a little thicker and more noticeable on my face. Shading is also a good training method for tweezing your brows. It is the most effective way to make sure you’re doing it right. You can see all the areas that need to be tweezed right in front of you. Creating a black eye makeup looks good also in a shaded brow.
4. When you are done shading in these areas they will stick out like a sore thumb.
Tweeze all of the unwanted hairs under your brow. Only tweeze hairs in the shaded areas if they are way too long. As you’re tweezing the unwanted hairs remember to also tweeze going in the direction of your natural brow.
5. After you tweeze under the brow tweeze the unwanted hairs above it and at the start of your brows.
This step is pretty much the clean-up process. The hairs in those areas are usually little. Plucking them can make all the difference.
