1. Stop Yo-Yo Dieting

2. Stop Skimping On Sleep

3. Stop Sipping Out Of A Straw

We’ve all started sipping out of straws to avoid staining our teeth and while this does keep stains at bay, it also causes premature wrinkles on our lips. It’s time to start drinking straight out of the cup and brushing your teeth more often.

4. Stop Forgetting To Wear Sunglasses


Squinting, smiling, even frowning can be the case of your premature wrinkles. While we don’t recommend stopping smiling, we do recommend using sunglasses as often as possible and whenever necessary. Sun exposure breaks down collagen which, in turn, reduces your skin’s elasticity and bounce. Loss of elasticity could also result in aging spots which only adds unwanted numbers to your age.

Beauty Solution: Always wear your sunglasses, even in winter since it’s the UVA and UVB rays you’re protecting your face from, not just the sun’s rays perse.

5. Stop Sleeping On Your Side

We all have our favorite sleeping position, but if yours is on your side you’re in for a rude awakening. Sleeping on your side can actually cause your skin to lose moisture as sleeping with your face pressed on your pillow for extended periods of time causes your face to dry out. A dry face is known to show signs of aging sooner than a well-moisturized face.

Beauty Solution: Train yourself to sleep on your back and rotate as often as you can. You want to keep turning while you sleep as you don’t want to press on one part of your face longer than you have to. By doing this you are preventing the signs of premature aging.

6. Stop Using Makeup As Sunscreen


Most makeup is now formulated with some amount of SPF, preferably SPF 50 and above. While you might think this is enough, it’s not as you always want to apply sunscreen as your base and then enhance your protection with SPF makeup.

Beauty Solution: Always apply sunscreen with SPF 25 or higher before applying your foundation. This will add a barrier of sun protection to your everyday skin regimen.
