Step 1: Prep Your Skin for Flawless Monochromatic Makeup
A great primer will keep your makeup looking fresh all day and will increase your foundation’s wear time. If you have acne scars or blemishes, a primer with a mint green tint will cover that up for you, a must for a monochromatic effect. Whether or you opt for an illuminating primer or a mattifying one depends on today’s mood.
Step 2: Apply an Eyeshadow Base
The eyes are crucial to the monochromatic look, so make sure to prep your lids especially if they’re oily or if you have hooded eyes. Apply the Benefit Cosmetics Air Patrol all over the lid and up towards the brow bone, set with your Anastasia Beverly Hills sheer white eyeshadow in the shade Blanc to create a blank canvas.
Tip: If you haven’t found your holy grail eye primer yet, you can use your favorite concealer and set with a touch of transparent setting powder.
Step 3: Sweep Your Transition Peach Shadow on Your Crease
Sweep the Makeup Geek Peach eyeshadow in Smoothie along your creases, going above a bit to cover the sheer white shade you applied earlier. If you’re not sure where the crease is, imagine that you’re painting above the eyeball. You should be able to feel it as you’re sweeping back and forth.
Step 4: Apply Your Deeper Peach Shade Over Your Lids
Apply the Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow in L’Orange all over your lids, this shade will be the hero of your monochromatic makeup look. Start on your crease, moving above your crease before bringing it down to your lash line.
Step 5: Tap on Your Deepest Peach Shade to Your Lash Line for Monochromatic Makeup
Avoid looking flat by defining your lash line with your Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow in Fudge. The touch of tan or brown will define your eyes while staying in theme with the monochromatic makeup look. The shade should look as natural as possible, so tan or fudge shades will work great, while coffee shades will leave you with a smoky eye.
Step 6: Put on Your Foundation and Concealer
Now you can tap on the Estèe Lauder Double Wear Light foundation! Monochromatic makeup in no way means flat – get a dewy foundation if you want to glow with the sun. If you apply foundation afterwards you’ll erase all evidence of eyeshadow fallout, but you can do this before eye makeup if that’s your jam.
Dot on your Nars Creamy Concealer to mask blemishes and to brighten your under eye area.

Step 7: Set, Bronze, and Contour
Set your foundation and concealer with a combination of the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder and BareMinerals barePRO Powder Foundation. Go easy on the Mac Bronzer because this peach monochromatic makeup look is all about looking soft, so we don’t want harsh lines anywhere. Peach is already a warm tone, so going heavy-handed might make you look sunburnt!
Step 8: Tap on Some Peach Blush for Monochromatic Makeup
Another key point for the monochromatic makeup is the blush, so choose a natural peach shade that resembles your eyeshadow tone like the BellaPierre Cosmetics Mineral Blush. Use a loose powder brush or a fluffy blush brush to make sure you’re getting just a whisper of color. Monochromatic makeup is supposed to melt seamlessly into one another.
Step 9: Highlight!
Highlight the top of your cheekbones and the highest points of your face with the Becca Cosmetics Champagne Pop Highlighter. Champagne tones are as natural and as glowy as you can get, and they’re perfect for all skin tones!
Step 10: Smoke Out Your Lower Lash Line With Your Second Peach Eyeshadow
Go back to your Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeshadow in L’Orange and sweep beneath your lower lash line. You can soften the look if the color is too harsh by mixing it with a light peach shade, you can use the MakeupGeek Peach Eyeshadow in Smoothie.
Finish off your eyes with the IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara, or cap off with feathery Demi Wispies false lashes! To bolden your monochromatic makeup, apply some House of Lashes lower lashes on your lower lash line as well!
Step 11: Paint on a Peach Lippie for Monochromatic Makeup
If you don’t have a peach shade, grab an orange and a pink and mastermind your own peach blend. The key point to remember is that you have to get as close to peach as your makeup allows you. Because our eye makeup is matte, let’s bring a healthy glow and luminosity with a juicy lip.
For this look, create your own shade by combining NYX Cosmetics Soft Matte Lip Cream in London and the OFRA Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in Rio.
