7 Bun Hairstyles in 7 days!

February 10, 2025 By Alicea James

Bun hairstyles are convenient for bad hair days and good hair days, for work, school and play, for pretty much every occasion. You really can’t go wrong with this chic style and today we have 7 styles for each day of the week.

1.Double bun with twist

Super cute especially for the summer, this double bun can take 2 minutes to complete. Part your hair in two and create two flat twist at the front, on both sides. Use an elastic band to secure both sections then wrap the loose ends in a bun and secure with bobby pins.

2.Bridal Bun

We’re officially in bridal season and this is perfect for that special day whether you are the bride or a bridesmaid. A few curls and some hairpins are all it takes to create this style. Pull out a few hairs in the front to frame your face and your bridal bun is complete.

3.Braided Bun

I can’t lie, this braided bun does require a bit of skill, but this photo tutorial breaks in down in simple steps. It really does look a lot more complicated than it actually is. This style works for a cocktail party or some sort of swanky soiree.

4.Bun With Headband

I absolutely adore these bun hairstyles that can be transformed with a colorful headband. You can choose whether you want a super high bun or a more centered bun. Secure your hair in a ponytail, wrap the ends in a tight or loose bun then top off the look with a headband of your choice. If you have short hair this works well because the headband keeps the short pieces intact.

5. Messy, half Up Bun

For days when you don’t have a lot of time to spend on your hair, but you still want to look chic and stylish. Just section off the top part of your hair and secure with a scrunchie then wrap the loose ends in a bun. Use your hands to loosen it up a bit so it doesn’t look too neat.

6.Bubble Bun

A very simple style perfect for a day at the office. You’ll need to start with clean curly hair. Just pull the hair into a high ponytail and strategically wrap the loose end around the top to create a bubble.

7. Sleek Low Bun

Talk about chic! This neat shiny bun is the ideal style for any and every occasion whether its work or play.
